Ammann’s Comprehensive Paving Lineup Showcased at São Paulo Expo
Ammann’s expanding lineup of roadbuilding products will be featured at the 7th Annual Paving Expo in São Paulo, Brazil, from Oct. 22-24.
Ammann experts will be at stand NR 64 to discuss the company’s pavers, light and heavy compaction equipment, and asphalt-mixing plants.
Pavers
Ammann completed the acquisition of the ABG Paving line in June 2024. All Ammann ABG pavers are recognized for their advanced technology, ease of operation, reliability and quality. They are designed to minimise fuel consumption, reduce emissions and operate quietly. Both tracked and wheeled pavers are available. The ABG screeds are also key differentiators – and have been throughout the company’s nearly 80-year history. ABG provided the first hydraulically adjustable, high-compaction screed on the global market. Recent advances include the e+ screed heat system, which can save 30 minutes of warmup time each shift while also reducing CO2 emissions. Today’s screeds include a single or double tamper, optional hydraulically controlled end gates, an advanced quick-coupling system for easy extensions, and special profile capabilities. The double tamper technology delivers a 5%-7% higher degree of compaction and can achieve up to 98% Marshall density.
Compactors
Ammann’s light and heavy compaction equipment helps crews reach goals in fewer passes of the machine, improving productivity and ultimately profitability. The compactors reflect a commitment to lower costs of ownership and maintenance.
Ammann Batch Mixing Plants
Ammann's core components are the backbone of its asphalt plants. Advanced engineering and high-quality materials ensure smooth operation and long life. The components include screens and mixers, burners and dryers and filters. Ultimately, these components translate to reliability, sustainability – and profitability.
The plants, with a wide range of production capacities, are easily customisable, and on-site Ammann engineering ensures its full potential is realised. Layout is flexible and the plants are adaptable as start-ups or easily integrated into existing sites.
Forward-thinking engineering ensures easy integration of future options and technologies.
Ammann Continuous Plants Serie Prime
The new Ammann ACM Prime 2.0 Asphalt-Mixing Plant will be featured.
Despite all the well-known advantages, such as high energy efficiency - providing low fuel consumption, excellence in mixing homogeneity - through mixers with internal volume control and the high durability of the components - as provided by the advanced bag cleaning system using air at atmospheric pressure, the second generation of the family Prime features the as1 Argon View control system, new gas exhaust device and mixing paddles made of even more resistant material.
The as1 Argon View creates a more dynamic interaction between user and machine, making it easier for operators to take advantage of the plant's full potential and improve efficiency and productivity.
The plant's new exhaust gas control system provides greater control over gas flow - through devices such as pressure differential and frequency inverter, aiming for maximum system efficiency in all possible operating scenarios of an asphalt plant.
The new mixer blades, made of ultra-wear-resistant material, further minimize the need for equipment downtime for maintenance.
