Sustainable Plants, Machines Highlighted Customer Event
LANGENTHAL, Switzerland – Ammann Group will feature its highly sustainable asphalt-mixing plants and roadbuilding equipment at an open house on November 25.
“We are looking forward to showcasing the Ammann plants and machines that make jobsites sustainable and customers profitable,”
The one-day event will highlight a wide range of Ammann products including asphalt-mixing plants, an innovative dust burner, ABG Pavers and Ammann compactors.
Ammann will host the gathering at its facility in Zhangjiagang. It is being held a day prior to bauma CHINA, which runs from November 26-29 in Shanghai. Ammann will participate in that event as well.
Both venues will be built around “A Green Path Forward,” which is Ammann's plan to provide businesses with sustainable plants and machines that also boost profits.
bauma CHINA
On display will be models of five asphalt-mixing plants, representing both batch and continuous technologies, and Ammann’s highly advanced recycling capabilities. The plants are renowned for their sustainability, production of high-quality asphalt mixes and low operating costs.
Visitors to the booth can also review the proprietary as1 Control System, which helps improve mix quality while reducing material waste and energy consumption.
The ABG 2820 Paver, with a basic width of 1.5 metres, will be available for evaluation. The paver excels when working on narrow city streets or handling road repairs. It is packed with the same industry-leading features as its larger counterparts.
OPEN HOUSE
Visitors to the open house will have an opportunity to learn about Ammann plants and machines.
Asphalt mixing plants
UniHRT
The Ammann ABA UniHRT Asphalt-Mixing Plant offers the highest percentage of recycling and maintains outstanding quality and production. The plant integrates Ammann's high-ratio recycling technology on top of the UniHRT mixing plant structure. The ABA UniBatch is optimised for the mid-range and high-end asphalt recycling market, featuring cost-effective, high ratio recycling and high reliability.
Eco-Series plants: EcoBatch & EcoHRT
The Eco-Series plants series of asphalt mixing plants is based on the advanced technology of Ammann's classic mixing plants as well as on core components designed in Switzerland and manufactured according to globally harmonised process requirements. Highly standardised, locally designed components and options enable the Eco-Series to be produced and stocked in relatively large quantities, which greatly reduces the production costs and shortens the delivery lead time. All these factors make the plant a cost-effective, yet stable and reliable product.
Coal Dust Burner
The pulverised Coal Dust Burner is a highly efficient burner developed by Ammann in response to the global energy shortage and rising fuel prices. It has a 30-year history of success in Europe. The pulverised coal tank and burner are equipped with advanced safety devices and a metering system. The burner is capable of full combustion, without auxiliary combustion, resulting in low emissions and low noise levels. In addition, the burner can be used with light oil or natural gas, making it a versatile component.
Pavers
ABG 7820 ASPHALT PAVERS TRACKED
The ABG 7820 paver is equipped with an industry-leading screed with a paving width of up to 11 m. A quick-connect system enables quick assembly or disassembly of extension sections of the telescopic screed. The innovative Electronic Paver Management System (EPM3) simplifies operations, improves paving quality and reduces operating costs, making the machine ideal for efficient and precise paving operations.
ABG2820 ASPHALT PAVERS TRACKED
With a maximum paving width of 13 m and a paving thickness of 300 mm, the ABG 8820L is a machine that can fulfil its potential in large-scale construction projects. The extra-long hopper with a capacity of 16.2 t provides enough feed space for large trucks, thus maximising productivity.
Ammann Compaction Machines
APF 20/50 FORWARD MOVING VIBRATORY PLATES
The APF 20/50 provides the most power in the new APF lineup. It features a working width of 500 mm (19.7 in) and centrifugal force of 20 kN. The plate’s technologically advanced exciter unit is completely maintenance-free. The exciter system also provides significant forward-moving power to enhance productivity in challenging materials and on steep grades.
APF 15/50 FORWARD MOVING VIBRATORY PLATES
The APF 15/50 combines the powerful Ammann exciter system with industry-leading low hand-arm vibration (HAV) levels. The result is a powerful compactor that’s comfortable and safe for operators, too. The plate features a working width of 500 mm (19.7 in) and engine power ranging from 2.6 kW to 3.8 kW.
APF 12/40 FORWARD MOVING VIBRATORY PLATES
A powerful, efficient petrol engine brings optimal machine performance to this plate compactor. The engine is also environmentally friendly, thanks to exceptional fuel consumption, minimal maintenance needs and low sound levels. The machine works well in many applications and is commonly utilised on small soil and asphalt jobsites.
ARX26-2C LIGHT TANDEM VIBRATORY ROLLER
The Ammann ARX 26.1-2C roller is ideal for small site work. Its front steel wheels and rear rubber tires are designed to ensure compaction and improve sealing performance. The innovative articulated joint gives the machine more flexibility and easier operation when working near obstacles.
ARX45-2C LIGHT TANDEM VIBRATORY ROLLER
The Ammann ARX 45-2 C roller makes it easier to see – and work – near obstructions. It also offers a drum in front and tyres in back to provide both compaction power and the sealing effect of pneumatic rollers. The roller features a new articulating joint that enables quick drum adjustment from in-line to offset configurations, helpful when working close to obstructions. Operators need watch only one drum, knowing the second will be a safe distance from the obstacle. The in-line drum setting is available when it’s time for productivity in open spaces.
ARX 140 ARTICULATED TANDEM ROLLER
The roller features Finger Tip Steering (FTS) technology for improved operator comfort. The adjustable compaction output feature quickly adapts to different working conditions. The triple-filtered sprinkler system prevents clogging of the nozzles and other components and ensures even distribution of water on the steel wheels. The articulated joints ensure that the wheels are in close contact with the ground, and the crabbing function increases productivity. ECOdrop technology reduces fuel consumption and therefore carbon emissions. The machine is robust and easy to maintain on a daily basis.
