Huyton Purchases First ABG Pavers Manufactured by Ammann

Huyton Asphalt Ltd. has long been a supporter of ABG Pavers. It comes as no surprise, then, that the paving business purchased the first ABG Pavers produced by Ammann at the factory in Hameln, Germany.

“Backup and support are critical and have been a large part of our decision to stay with the ABG brand,” said James Blennerhassett, managing director of Huyton, with headquarters in St. Helens, England. “Ammann’s ownership of ABG played an important part in our recent purchase of four new pavers this year.”

Huyton has explored other manufacturers but has always chosen ABG. Besides the superior quality of the ABG line, the variety of models ensures there is a proper size for their varied jobsites.

“Our loyalty and affiliation to ABG is due to the relationships we have had with the people,” he said. “They ultimately give us the confidence in the brand. It is incredibly important to be able to talk to knowledgeable and experienced people familiar with the complexities of paving.”

Huyton Asphalt has grown significantly over the years, in great part because of its demanding standards. The company will celebrate its 55^th anniversary in 2025.

The paving firm takes pride in being an industry innovator and supporter of new technologies.

The company also pursues sustainability and carbon reduction, as evidenced by the new machines, which feature the distinctive eco-friendly HALO logo and colors. It is appropriate given Huyton’s commitment to low-carbon materials and low-emission equipment.
