Ammann APH 85/95 Hydrostatic Vibratory Plate Compactor - Traction in any position
LANGENTHAL, Switzerland - The Ammann APH 85/95 Hydrostatic Vibratory Plate Compactor proves itself with its smooth-running control and excellent results. The vibratory plate is available with the ACEecon compaction indicator on request. This virtually eliminates incorrect compaction when working with the latest addition to the APH family. With its innovative vibration-reducing guide handle, the APH 85/95 meets even the most stringent industrial safety requirements. Nothing stands in the way of continuous use in paving, civil engineering, excavation pits and landscaping.
The fully hydraulic vibratory plates of the APH series from Ammann have the highest balancing force in the industry. Standard tasks in road and canal construction are completed in no time at all.
But speed is not everything: If, for example, excavation pits are backfilled, care and precision are required. Anyone who only compacts superficially here is increasing the chances of settlement damage – and thus risks expensive recourse claims from disgruntled clients. The Ammann triple-shaft exciter system prevents this and enables optimum compaction.
The system drives the APH 85/95 up gradients of up to 36° with perseverance and uniformity. Wet and cohesive soils are no obstacle for the Ammann machines, in contrast to many other systems. Thanks to the noticeably reduced tilting movement, the hydraulic vibratory plates run evenly on the ground and transmit their impulses deep into the layer to be compacted. Ammann's own ACEecon system continuously measures the soil stiffness and signals the current status of the compaction work to the operator via an LED display. With the information provided, over-compaction or even loosening of the subsoil can be efficiently avoided. This means that even less experienced machine operators can provide optimum compaction results.
The APH 85/95 was introduced at bauma 2019 as an extension of the successful APH series. Ammann engineers designed a reinforced machine hood for this new model. Made of an innovative plastic with particularly high impact resistance, it protects the components inside the machine from dirt – and also from collision and impact damage. The new drive does not require a centrifugal clutch or V belt. Consequently, nothing can wear out. The Ammann APH 85/95 is a durable machine designed for tool-free maintenance and easy accessibility.
Even inexperienced machine operators can quickly get to grips with the APH 85/95. The Ammann Orbitrol steering system enables precise machine navigation in narrow pits and on inclines. Professionals also appreciate this hydrostatic control system, which allows them to adjust the speed continuously or easily change direction. If necessary, vibration is carried out while the machine is stationary. The low-vibration guide handle is optimised for fatigue-free operation and eliminates the need for working time records. This allows the compacting of subgrade and base course as well as the placing of paving stones to be carried out in one pass – with just one machine.
The new APH 85/95 is available with both diesel and petrol engines and is ideal for road construction, civil engineering and building construction. In addition, the substructure can be efficiently compacted for paving surfaces, which is why even the most impressive construction companies with large design contracts will not want to do without an APH.
